A Brief History

Cleaner Guys started in 2002 as a carpet cleaning company, and was acquisitioned some years later by our current owner and Director of Business Development, Bob Shupe.
Bob worked in the home damage restoration industry for years, working for many other companies in the space. He had a vision of running a company of his own that fixed all the problems he saw in the other companies, like dishonestly padding prices, cutting corners in workmanship, and more. And our clients will tell you that he absolutely achieved that dream!
Cleaner Guys has grown into a local favorite because of our vision to be more honest, more affordable, more professional, and more caring than our competition. We invite you to experience all this yourself! Below is the team who will make it happen for you.
Management
Bob Shupe
Director of Business Development
Bob has been one of the owners of Cleaner Guys since 2013, and under his direction, it has flourished into the award-winning company it is today! He has lived in Washington State all his life, and loves offroading, camping, and spending time with his wife and 9 kids.
Glenn Reph
CEO
Glenn is an Angel Investor and owner of multiple businesses. He has been with CG since 2016, and has been in Washington for 25 years. He enjoys golfing, reading, and playing with his 11 grandkids. He says he also loves good Italian food, opera and classical music, and gospel music of all kinds.
David Olson
General Manager
Dave has been the CG general manager since mid-2023. He moved to Washington State from upstate New York, and has over 40 years of experience in the restoration industry. He enjoys duck hunting, fishing, and raising Labrador dogs!
Tim Reph
Director of Operations
Tim has been working for CG since the beginning of 2020, when he moved to Washington State from California. He loves going on fishing trips with his dog Diego, and the pair of them are always making everyone in the office smile.
Administration
Melanie Ortegon
Director of Marketing
Melanie has worked with CG since the autumn of 2018. She spent 4 years as a tradeswoman in the field, and then in 2023 transitioned into CG’s director of marketing. She was born and raised in Washington, and now lives in Texas with her husband and 3 cats, with whom she loves to spend all her time.
August Moon
Administrative Assistant
August started working at CG in late 2021, and she’s always on top of answering the phone and helping our clients with everything they need. She’s grown up in WA, and when not in the office, she loves making jewelry, true crime mysteries, and listening to Taylor Swift and Fleetwood Mac.
Tate Klein
Administrative Assistant
Tate has been part of the CG team since the start of 2024. She moved to WA from Montana with her family when she was 3, and she says she has always loved hiking and exploring in the outdoors. Now, she does that with her daughter, as well as crafting jewelry and gardening!
Mitigation and Construction Technicians
Kolton Gwaltney
Construction Project Manager
Kolton joined CG in the summer of 2023. He’s lived in WA since he was 5, and he loves taking advantage of our incredible outdoors: kayaking, hiking, and snowboarding with his family. If you ever hear Metallica or Bob Marley while we’re fixing your property, it’s probably Kolton!
Joshua Gilson
Mitigation Project Manager
Josh has been one of CG’s team leaders since the fall of 2023. He was born and raised in California, like Tim, and moved to WA 5 years prior to joining us. When he’s not working hard with our mitigation team, he loves taking his kids on adventures and cooking! He says he likes listening to music like the Zach Brown Band.
Howard Rohdy
Mitigation and Construction Technician
Howard has been part of the CG family since late 2023! He moved to WA 5 years prior to that, from Tennessee, with many years of experience in the restoration industry. When he’s not working, he loves fishing, fishing, and more fishing! And when he’s listening to music, it’s country, country, country.
Carlos Vega
Mitigation and Construction Technician
Carlos became part of the CG team at the beginning of 2022. He spent most of his life in California, and moved to WA in the middle of 2021. In his free time, Carlos most enjoys relaxing and playing with his dog, while listening to his favorite music. He says he loves orchestral music, such as film and video game scores.
Jaime Velasquez
Mitigation and Construction Technician
Jaime joined CG’s mitigation team in the spring of 2023. He was born and raised in WA, and enjoys spending time outdoors and by the water with his young son. He says his favorite food is lasagna, and that there isn’t a genre of music he doesn’t like!
Ryan Miller
Mitigation and Construction Technician
Ryan has been with CG since the summer of 2023. He moved to WA from Virginia 7 years before that, and loves fishing, hiking, and camping in Washington’s beautiful outdoors! He also enjoys woodworking and carpentry in his free time.
Jacob Mogan
Mitigation and Construction Technician
Jacob has been with our team at CG since the fall of 2023. He’s a born-and-raised-Washingtonian, and he says he’s loved this land and fishing it his entire life. He says he’s a solid family man in his free time.
Ivan Solano
Mitigation and Construction Technician
Ivan has been part of CG since the start of 2024, and says he loves working here! He went to school in Mount Vernon, and recently moved back to WA after living in California for 15 years. He loves running, working out, drawing, and reading in his free time.

Our mission at Cleaner Guys is to provide the best customer service and the best workmanship in Western Washington State. Plain and simple.
It frustrates us — and everyone else — that so many contractors charge too much, do slapdash workmanship, and leave behind messy, unclean work areas. Sadly, most people have just come to expect as much from tradesmen of all kinds. That’s why everyone who deals with us is always so delighted to instead get clean, professional technicians who care about doing the work right, and who treat every clients’ home like it’s their own!
