Bob Shupe has worked in the cleaning and restoration industry for nearly 20 years. He has built a reputation as a first-class professional who exemplifies the finest customer service and technical expertise. He has the ability to accurately follow standard protocols in remediation, mitigation and, third party administration guidelines while retaining highly effective problem solving and creatively for more complex and difficult losses.
Bob has a unique depth of experience, having worked for large national/international franchise organizations on both the corporate/franchiser and franchisee sides of that business model. He has also worked for large and small independent, local/regional companies involved with mitigation/cleaning services and restoration construction. Bob has personally managed both small and large loss projects including water damage mitigation and repairs, fire damage clean-up and reconstruction, high-rise/multi-use commercial losses and localized catastrophic events related to river flooding and wind storms. Bob holds a Master Water Restorer certification with IICRC as well as smoke/odor and fire damage cleaning certifications.
Bob leverages an intuitive ability to put the needs of customers and projects into an efficient logical progression, helping everyone involved understand the whole process thoroughly from step one through completion. He constantly keeps the overall picture in mind, knowing that he is frequently only the first participant in the larger restoration process, helping both contractors and claims professionals move through the restoration process smoothly and with reduced costs that can otherwise be caused by sloppy or short-sighted workmanship. Bob’s clients always appreciate his perspective and his ability to articulate a vision of the claims process early-on, helping to establish reasonable expectations and a timetable for what will likely come next.
Bob is first and foremost a family man, marrying the love of his life in 1997. He and Erika live in Mount Vernon with their nine children where they enjoy the quiet community, beaches, parks and mountains of the Skagit Valley. Bob is a serious amateur photographer, enjoying both portraiture and landscape photography, he enjoys building and flying radio controlled airplanes with his sons. Bob is serious about learning and loves consuming books, audiobooks, podcasts and taking classes when possible and attending local activities as time permits. Bob is also a member of the Civil Air Patrol, Skagit Composite Squadron where he serves as Public Affairs Officer, Communications Officer and teaches aerospace education to the cadets in the unit.
